I love how simple and precise your rules are. Very easy to remember, and clear to the point. The star items are very cute. I really like yours. <3

Any ways I could edit mine?

Warning: I'm rather critical of trading rules, don't take it personal

The first thing I noticed just scrolling through it, as how to picture at the top is centered, but everything else is normal. Its kinda off-putting. It would help to at least have the picture at the end centered, or perhaps the whole thing.

Second, the first little group of text, the 'My Trading Rules' part, the rules themselves look fine, but the way they are bolded seems a bit strange to me. Normally bold is use to emphasize a word or two, or used to be the 'main' part of a rules (like writing 'I do know my rarities. If I have a question about a trade, I will ask the FTT') The way you have words all over the place bolded seems off, its too much, half of the rules are in bold, and the bold is scattered around the sentences, I tried reading them empathizing the bolded parts and I couldn't make heads or tails of it. It seems as if your trying to bold the important parts, rather than using the bold for emphasis, which isn't really what bold is supposed to be used for. You can pull it off if there is an important part in the middle, such as; 'All my pets are for trade, except my NFT pets, and ungrouped pets' And you did do that a bit, but you also seem to have random or less-important words bolded by themselves, and it just confuses me. If your only going to bold a couple words by themselves, they should be used for emphasis, if your going to bold a sentence it should be for importance, but mixing the two just doesn't work.

Next, the 'My Sunjewel/Dream Pets', personally I would say this part isn't needed, if the pets are locked then it should be assumed that they are not for trade, and anyone looking at them probably will not be looking at your trade rules, unless they are asking for your Sunjewel, which is why I don't show of pets in my trade rules. People don't ask for them.

Next part, same as above, and pretty much repeating yourself, locked groups should be automatically assumed. If your having a be problem with this I'd probably point at the Sunjewel, I stopped having problems with this as soon as I stopped putting pets in my sig and trade rules. *shrugs* the pets has importance only to you, honestly, no one else cares XD Yeah it hurts to realize that you work that hard for a pet you want, but why would anyone else care unless you were willing to trade it?

Fifth, the paperclip part, again with the bolding, please decide what you are using bolding for. I look at your rules and I see text smattered on the page with bolded letters dropped in randomly. Also, if you have the paperclip group unlocked, I highly doubt anyone bothers to click the group link, they can just see the pets when opening the trade group. the paperclip part could probably be taken out as well, as paperclips are pretty self-explanatory at this point, and just have your trade thread link elsewhere, like at the bottom of your trade rules or right under the rules.

Sixth, the BMD part, I'd say go ahead and proclaim your BMD hoarding, I'm sure you expect haters and whatnot, but that right there is a big 'ask for my locked pets' sign along with the sunjewel. And I will continue to point out the bolding.

On one last note, I'd say if you could cut out the sunjewel/dream pets, locked pets, and paperclip parts, your trade rules would look a lot shorter, neater, pleasing to the eye, and more encouraging to read. If you had just the BMD pic there without the hoarding bit, that would be even better, but its all up to you, just advice.

Mine? I've been meaning to improve on them and I'm wondering on the first step. I don't quite like how they are, really, someone tell me something thats wrong with them x3

Looks good, though I think you need to edit some bits. When reading through, I thought underlined rules with > where the main points, but this does not correspond with one of your trade rules. Also, the pictures are chopped off on Ipods and cause lag on slow computers, so I recomend having a link to a trade thread rather then lots of pictures. Other then that, looks good.

@noleah: I don't see any problems unless it's because they're all in bold texts? Maybe you could unbold sentences underneath the ones with the underlines so it doesn't look overwhelming? Other than that I like it: simple, organized and direct without meaningless babble! o uo)b I wish people's trade rules were like this more often so you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to understand what they want in their trades.

The image is fine on my laptop and it doesn't lag at all, but you can add a link beneath the image in case people like NightofnewRose who uses iPod/iPad/mobile/etc. can't see it?

@NightofnewRose: Looks great! You listed and specified all the basic principles so I don't see the need to change anything, and the achievement badge is a really nice touch!

(just helping out so review the person above me)

a bit long, and crowded. I like rules that get right to the point, and then you're done with them.
yours kind of come across as confusing { the bit on rumplestilskins? o.o }, and then you just keep scrolling, and scrolling.
maybe try to minimize the wording and such in them? ;v;

anything that could improve mine? o3o

It's right to the point and eye catching.

I'd MAYBE bold the part under demand, or make it a new rule entirely. Perhaps saying "species matters", as that has really nothing to do with demand.

Anything on mine?

Basically what I do is point out anything that makes trade rules more complicated than they need to be, my philosophy is that trade rules should be short, simple, and to the point. Anything that is unneeded, redundant, or overly complicated should be fix and/or taken out.

Anything on mine?

I'll try doing it this way since it seems easier. Comments in red.

Anarchy and Stitches are NFT. I don't want to have to lock them in their own group, so please don't offer on them! Understandable, but you can't really blame people for offering since half the people don't read trade rules anyway.

1) Don't try and trick me, I know what's fair.

2) You may offer for anything in my unlocked groups, but I have a right to refuse.

3) Make an effort to leave a message, but if you can't or just don't have the time, that's okay. Message or no message? Decide, if you don't care, there not really a point in having this, people who wouldn't leave a message won't change their minds after reading this and everyone else already sends messages anyway.

4) I love to edit, feel free to send me suggestions! (COPPA's, please change the name of your pet to what you want.)

5) I use the TRT, FTT and "How much is this pet worth?" threads.

6) If you see something not up for trade that you REALLY want, come talk to me in PM, we can work something out. This is just begging for people to ask for the pets you mentioned above as specifically NFT. NFT is NFT, either its for trade or its not. If its not for trade, lock it, if its for trade or 'maybe for trade' leave it unlocked, this would then no longer be needed.

7) Items are NFT. Sorry, guys. The majority of my items are gifts, and I don't trade gifts. Lock your items if they aren't for trade, this would then no longer be needed.

8) If I don't answer immediately, I'm thinking on the trade or consulting the FTT.

Currently looking for any pets that might be considered "Punk" for my "Punk is Not Dead" group!
It is not a hoard group, so please look at what I already have in there before offering!
To be perfectly honest no one is really going to bother checking to see, just look through the archives and wishlist everything that is punk related that you still need. Some people have different versions of what 'punk' is, they may try to trade you a pet you don't consider punk. If you put the pets on you wishlist then this wouldn't be needed and the group could be locked.

As you can probably tell, the Yellow Toxic is my Dream Pet. Please help me get him by adding to my PaperClip if you can.
'k you could probably just write 'Dream Pet' under it and the rest would be self-explanatory, but yeah.

Image
All outcomes from this litter are my dreamies, besides the Toxic!
Not really sure what this means. Is there a toxic outcome in the 2009 staff litter? Thats what it sounds like. Just say the 2009 staff litter is are also dreamies, the pic here won't help much since half the CS population doesn't know what the blankets look like for popular litters.
Hoard Pets (Will overpay for a large amount!)
Image(all outcomes)ImageImage
This seems...kinda slapped together without any thought really, if your going to show your hoards it would work best as putting them all onto one, small/medium sized pic so people can see what they are, or just stick them on your wishlist and not even have this here, usually when people see your hoarding pets they automatically assume you'll trade a rare for a couple very commons. And with your big 'overpay' sign up there you'd be getting a lot of that.

>cat gif<
Cute, but slows my computer down way too much, distracts me from the rules, and is too big. Unnecessary distraction from the trade rules and isn't needed in any way.

Overall your trade rules are actually pretty good, but I'd suggest a good clean-up of them to keep them clutter-free. It makes them much more pleasing to the eye and more welcoming to read.

How do mine look? I re-vamped them a bit, but I'm wondering if they are so short they would be skipped easy or that the pic is drawing the attention more than it should? I really don't mind constructive crit on them, I onside that much better than just a 'yours are good' ^.^' I'm always looking for ways to improve.

Noleah, it is very neat and organized, but yes, the pictures draw the eye moreso, but it may because I am tired. But the words are large enough that they are easy to read quickly.
