I think someone is telling people that I'm quitting or something because over the past 24 hours I've been slammed with tons of trades asking for free pets and requesting I unlock my groups so people can adopt from them. On the bright side, nearly everyone has been really nice about it when I tell them I'm not quitting and that they must have the wrong person. (I even managed to edit a portion of the trades so both sides were happy.) However I did have one person who was really nasty about it, saying if I wasn't giving out free pets I shouldn't tell everyone I'm quitting. ...
I hardly post on the forums so I wonder who started the rumor......

Who on earth would do that?? I would hate it if that happened to me,

Why do people keep offering me rats? I hate them, I don't think I have any on my wishlist.
And my trade rules say that I NEVER want rats, Nicks, horses, guinea pigs, or bats unless they're wishlist pets...

First trade that broke that rule.
I suppose I can't really complain about the offer though; just that it's a rat that they offered...
This one I can complain about however. Message: "Sorry, I didn't have any rare wishlist pets of yours ^^;"
So you thought it was okay to offer me rats? Obviously you read that I'm looking for wishlist pets only, which are all my hoard pets, which (I'm assuming) is why you're apologizing for only offering two of them. Why would you read the wishlist only rule, and then offer me non-wishlist rats? Even if I didn't have the rule I stated above, I don't follow that logic...

That's possible. I'll have to look around to see if I can find anyone. At least then I could direct everyone to the right person they're looking for.

I know a few other members who people automatically assumed were quitting just because they hardly posted...

Lol. If that's the case I guess I should post more often so this doesn't happen again.

I haven't gotten anything like that yet, and most likely a good thing.
I don't think I could be nice to anyone who thinks that I'm quitting and they want free pets from me.

To be honest it was kind of funny at first because I figured they had clicked on the wrong person (I had recently posted in the adoptions forum) but then the trades just kept coming. Now it's getting a little frustrating...

You know why?
Because people send suggestions with one uncommon wishlist on their side and my Pink September (wishlist locked) asking what I want for her.
I WANT REAL WISHLIST PETS, NOT A GRINNER AND SOME WORTHLESS TRADE FODDER.

The most it's going to be is a Very Rare, like most SP are, so it means you're offering your '12 VR for my '08 and '09 VR's? Hahaha no. What's funny is thay they joined in 2010.. And besides, what's so great about those new store pets? In auctions I saw people majorly overpaying for them.

It's terrible, just because I've not been here as long as the person who sent me a trade (Which was rubbish) doesn't mean that one of my pets is worth less...

Anyway, if it was and OMG so rare, tough, you'd still be worse off than them, it'd still be unfair to you!
