Free Items can go from a Common to an Uncommon from the same year/month of release.
Banner Items/Traded for Items can go from a single Uncommon to multiple Uncommons.

Item worth can also depend on which item it is, and how both parties view demand on the item.

Demand doesn't make things worth more. It's still only worth just 1 09 rare within the 3 month rule
Rarity they're overpaying, demand wise is completely up to you if you're happy with this or if you want them to add more or not

1. Just a 2011 rare short of being worth 5 09 rares
2. Worth 7-8 09 rares

If you're after trading onto the list or getting more value out of your pets then the second one is better.

The teal butterbun is a tier higher than the dice PPS, so rarity wise, they are overpaying, however, I don't know about demand.

They would need to remove a skeleton pps + low sept's worth of pets // almost a UR purple horse's worth
There's a lot of combinations they could take off,, like
-Remove cake dog + blood pps
-Remove red x dog + target dog + pink patchy + one of the mid advent lists
-Remove rose dog + pink patchy + target dog + all the mid advent lists

etc
