Sorry for hijacking the thread DD D:

My main issue with the big gap is that there isn't even a little gap there - I personally feel it's worth discussing consolidating the Spotted Tribal & Unickorn lines. If this actually happened though, it would force the big gap to move either above or below them, which leads to the valid concern that people may feel the pets that were moved above/below are more/less valuable when that isn't the case.

Regardless of the line consolidation suggestion, it doesn't change the fact that the big gap is in the worst position it could possibly be in - the pets it separates are the closest in value on the list than any other pets on the main list, and this would be confusing for anyone trying to trade those pets for each other.

I do agree that it is useful as a marker, but perhaps that suggests replacing it with two markers to split the list into thirds would be a helpful option to consider. We could have an Upper Main List, Mid Main List and Lower Main List, or July/August sections, or Above Non/Below Sorbet markers since they are prominent pets when calculating values of other list pets. There are all sorts of options that can be considered. Heck we could even rename the Big Gap to the Little Gap to emphasise that the gap between the pets it separates is so small, then we wouldn't have to even move it or add another marker.

I like having different markers for sure. It's just a common thing for people to say when describing a pets placement. I think that's the main reason I wouldn't want it to move. But I do agree that it being considered the "big gap" makes the placement just terrible. I wouldn't be against the markers being the non/sorb ones. Or even renaming the gap. I just like the idea of the marker without moving just the "big gap" one many many tiers higher.

A balloon Dog marker would be unnecessary. If there, hypothetically, was to be a non marker and sorbet marker, the balloon dog line marker would add confusion and isn't really necessary, I think.

I don't know if I have much of an opinion here at all seeing I'm still learning things about this list BUT

I do agree having the mid-main would be easier, the gaps for the non/sorbets one, or are those two different suggestions? Either way, I'm still learning and i have much to improve on list trading. I'm a heck of a lot better at it now, I constantly reference page four, I easily know about the non and sorbets rule. Honestly I think that would be very helpful in understanding values especially seeing it seems like many people don't know about pg.4

I seriously thought that the values between the the top of the lower main list and the bottom of the upper list was extremely vast. (I mostly offsite trades so that's why I have what I got X'D)

regardless of whether it is valid or not, that's my 2 cents for this topic.

I dont really want to crop or cut up the list in different portions. Ill decide about this when im back from my holiday as i cant edit the list right now, but im mostly likely just going to change the big gap to where its supposed to go and put a big notice up top. I can leave the gap where it is right now so that there will be two gaps for a white, kinda like with the blue ??? Rat, the ??? Stayed for quite a while to not confuse people. We'll see.
