Seems like they are offering to overpay slightly, by Horror's guide at the very least. Your Phoenix dog is worth 1 MA = 10 OR, and the Phoenix chick 1 OR, totaling 11 OR. Each 2009 VR is worth 2.5 OR, making their side worth 12.5 OR by this standard. They may be making up for the fact that some of the pets on their side are re-releases, if you mind that, but staff dogs always tend to have pretty healthy demand, so I personally think it's a good offer c:

Straightforward same year, same rarity swap makes this a fair trade, in my opinion. However, if you're valuing tradeability, I would advise you keep the owl. Dogs have good demand, but Malk and PPS pet makes it appealing to two kinds of common collectors, so I would bet on the owl having slightly better demand c:

Your store Kirin is worth 1 MA = 10 OR according to Horror's guide. Their side is worth 6 - 6.5 ORs (the 2014 and recent rares don't add a lot of value here, but depending on how much you like or want them they could make up that 0.5 OR difference). The Kirin store horses don't have great demand, so I imagine they struggle to trade for good bulk. Conversely, the Malk pets on their side tend to trade pretty well in my experience, especially the foxes.

I personally don't think the difference in demand quite makes up for the missing value on their side, but you might think differently depending on the pets you're seeking. Try to get someone else to weigh in on this, if possible c:

thank you guys, i appreciate the advice! i like the pets on their side but not enough that i want to undervalue the kirin that much, so i'll let them know.
