Whats the worst injury you ever got?

The worst thing I've ever had happen was a bad cut with a filet knife on my hand. I couldn't write for weeks!

To Anyone:

What was the one encounter/situation/occurrence that made you have more confidence in the things you loved to do? What pushed you to put yourself out there for the world to see? What was the final straw for you?

This isn't exactly a single situation but the repeated efforts of my fiancé to actually give me confidence about my artwork has made a world of difference for me. My parents are great but they kinda hate my art style so I get a lot of negative comments at home. He was the one who showed me that I can still do what I love the way I want to regardless of what they think and I'm eternally grateful. I can't imagine what I'd do if I had given up art.

Do you have any OC's?

Heck yes. Loads. :) I don't do much RPing here but I do a lot on other sites and I have a ton of fun writing with them when I have free time between classes, work, and homework. :)

Jovi (black), Libby (sleeping), and Khaleesi (puppy).

Jovi is much fatter than when we got her and she has a light grey stomach now, and Libby is much bigger and fatter now that she is older. That photo was four days after we got her. Khaleesi hasn't changed much, and try to ignore me trying to hide in the background.

Whats the worst injury you ever got?

When I was about 10 my finger got caught between a steel door and the tip nearly came off. 8D
Now the top phalange is a little crooked and I have a big ol' scar there. Pro tip! Never play tag and have your friend slam the door on you while you try to tag her.

When someone makes art for me I get super excited. It just makes me the happiest and you can bet that I have all art ever made for me saved to my laptop and have it as a back-up on an external HD. But essentially I turn into this:


When someone makes something that I'm a fan of I just sort of approvingly nod even though no one can see.

Aww, thanks! I wasn't afraid of any backlash for my pet designs. We've had spooky pets before and I don't do designs that feature gore or anything rulebreaking that would warrant a slap on the wrist. Though at first I was pretty anxious about the community liking my pets but that turned out pretty well! I receive mostly positive comments with the occassional critique, but I don't see critique as a bad thing so it's all good!

Whats the worst injury you ever got?

At a rugby game in October I had a suspected broken neck. That was pretty scary. I went to move and there was just this un-imaginary pain. I don't really remember it but there's a video from the opposition we were playing (they were really posh and they film all their games) who caught my coach thundering onto the pitch to my aid. Bless dat man. I spent an hour waiting for an ambulance to arrive with specialists on board who could deal with neck and spinal injury's, and then 6 hours in hospital. I've still not told my family about that incident (it turned out I separated my shoulder -my neck was fine! My shoulder, on the other hand, is still very much separated).
But it's quite funny because that was the first game I played at my new club which my mum didn't come to watch. Thank goodness. But in December, our captain suffered a similar injury, and everyone was waiting around for the ambulance and discussing the 'last occasion' we'd had to call an ambulance to my mum. Thankfully nobody let it slip that the 'last occasion' was for me.

I guess though my broken ankle is probably the worst injury. I continued to playing with my separated shoulder, but because of my broken ankle I missed out on my chance to play for County this year. To say I was crushed is the understatement of the year.

Or...maybe the concussion I got playing against Uganda last year. That was also really funny because we played that game on the Saturday (or was it the Sunday? idk, weekends are so alike), but on the monday previous I'd cut both my knees open to the bone. I was adamant I was going to play the match though, and then 20 minutes in or something I got a knee to the head and knocked cold. I don't remember anything from that match, or the rest of the afternoon.

My most beloved are Vlad and Robert, but I've also got my first female OC under development at the moment too!
boop she doesn't have a name yet, but she's a dijini who once fell in love with a woman with whom she should not have. As an immortal being herself, she wished that her lover might live forever too, and so she searched the lands for someone who might wish for it from her. But you should always be careful what you wish for.

I wanted to say the roleplay boards at first, but I mean the trade boards can be a nightmare if people are spamming, but equally there are threads in general discussion that drive me mental. I wouldn't say any of them are worse than any other, maybe just frustrating in their own ways.

I remember when Verdana first drew our characters together, and sent it to me in the post years later as a secret santa. Insane. My character had always been faceless until that moment. She literally defined him visually for me. And then Draca's art that she endless spews forth of our nerds made me so happy I kidnapped her in London and we goofed around on the London Underground imagining our characters on the tube. I guess it's different when I commission art though, because that's me more anxious to get what I paid for, but when Dana and Draca draw art for me I just melt into an oozy puddle of feels and giddiness. All the hard copies of art I've got from them hangs on the wall opposite my bed so I can forever stare and love them.

A couple of years ago one of my friends drew me Moriarty from Sherlock, and last year she drew me the map of Middle Earth. Both pieces are insane.
