Oh, I loved the old layout - and this dog was my dream pet for a long long time because of it:

She's still special to me.

The site layout changed a couple of weeks after I joined, I don't remember exactly when. I thought it was extremely bright at first, but I loved the front page. So much fabulous work went into it.

Hee! I like the red and the yellow, but I am not too bothered about the others. I much prefer the Sortics.

On topic - I remember that for ages after the new layout was implemented, the archive still had the old site layout. Is there anywhere on site now that still shows the old layout?

I remember when the site had members in the hundreds, not thousands! 8D

And I remember when I first joined I only adopted 2-3 of each pet... I kick myself a lot for that... I could have gotten a sun-back, jeweled sun-wolf, and moon-swirl dangit! xD

Edit: Oh and I remember when we had the chat box on the front page and Tess had to take it down because of the spam people were posting on it.

I also remember when we had a chat room where we could doodle in it and other people could join us. You could watch their drawings as they made them and they could watch yours. That was kinda fun. But sometimes it got annoying because some people would come in and erase or draw over your drawing before you could finish it or take a screenshot of it. xD

Before I actually joined CS, I remember the old layout, it was a nice cream shade. But I don't remember when there was hundreds of users xD

I loved the cream colour of the old layout. A lot easier on the eyes. I like the new one as well, though. I remember the Pound button had a sad 'coontail pup on it, and Avian was at the top of the page. Oh, and that chatbox thing. I can just about remember the old trading system, too. And on Halloween I adopted two of the pumpkins. I don't remember anything much about the forums though, other than posting to have my pets added to an account. The only other experiences I had with the forums back then was when everyone was screaming about some ultra-rare 'joker dog', and during the Advent calendar when you could adopt like 15 dogs on one day and I was worried I was gonna get banned or something for exploiting a bug.

Well of course you dont remember hundreds of users, there were probably 80,000 by the time you joined! XD

I also remember when the most there were online at the same time were 250 XD
