Went looking for some old screenshots, found this two year old one. Feels like such a short time but I think it was in 2011.
Everyone was like crazy, trying to get burnt dogs and this item set. 8D
Anyone made screenshots of the medieval or last fair?
I think we should screenshot all the events, they are worth remembering.
Well I'm definitely no oldie but I wish I had been playing CS when the Medieval Faire came out! I think it would have been my favorite and based on the screen shot above ^^ the art looks like it was really beautiful.

Rainpelt wrote:I agree completely with the three posts in front of me, CS was a more relaxing in general way back when. I feel like it's because there were so fewer pets and there were no huge demand spikes, so people were much more 'lax with trading and things like that. It was easier to get what you wanted and a nice, friendly conversation along with it. Plus you knew that whatever you traded away was going to a great home because they usually wanted it for the pet itself, not to have a high value pet to trade with, just personal experience/opinion ^^
EDIT:

Just found
this in my history xD
I know! I sooooo miss the days when someone would trade for a pet because they actually wanted the darn thing. Not because they wanted to see how much value they could squeeze out of the poor thing by trading it off again immediately or auctioning it.
Nothing wrong with that I guess, it's just a totally different mindset anymore on here.
It does give me a warm fuzzy feeling when I see a pet I traded off years ago still with the person I traded it to. Sitting there happily loved in their collection or in a favorites group. A True favorites group. Not a "It's my dreamie" group only to be traded or auctioned off a few days later.
