This is fair, if not a slight overpay to the top because of the extra 2013 rare. But if you want overpay for it, then no I wouldn't accept this :>

It would have to be a 2008 rare within the 3 month rule: 2008 November-2009 February

Nope! the 2008 rare would actually be fair on it's own! This is because 2 '09 rares equals 1 '08 rare. And 2 '09 rares also equals 1 '09 VR! Adding another '08 rare to the top would mean they're technically trading away two '09 vr's for that one and that's extremely unfair to them.

Any pet that exist can be apart of the 3 month rule. But I think you're a little confused. The 3 month rule only works with the same rarity. For example, a 2009 rare dog goes for another 2009 rare dog within three months. Not a 2009 rare dog going for a 2009 VR within 3 months.

The rare dog is an extended release & doesn't go by the 3 month rule as far as I know. It's worth an August 09 rare. They would need to add at least another 09 rare for it to be fair.

The top and bottom are fair but the middle one is unfair to them; one '08 vr would be fair

1. Perfectly fair going by the 3 month rule
2. Seems more or less fair, if not slightly unfair to you. Both their rares are worth a mid late 09 rare each.
3. Also more or less fair, they have one early 09 and a mid late 09 rares worth.
