Maybe you're using Internet Explorer?
So you don't have the tab feature? Then instead, when you right click the picture, select "Open in new window."

I guess.. I have the tab feature, but it doesn't work on doing things like that. There isn't a 'open in new window' tab on it either. All it says when I right click is copy, save picture as, and some others.

I have explorer, and I can open in new window o.o

you have maybe the old version form ie, download a another browser or ie 7 or 8 (the old Ie is very slow, and not have tabs. )
