if anyone is curious.

i do have a question for all of you who have large hoards,
how long did it take you to reach your goals?
or, how long have you been working towards them?

up until now, all my hoards have been endless,
and slow going, mainly because i haven't been
focusing solely on them. but that changed today,
i decided to start a large hoard, PPS rats to be exact.
i want to try to collect a whopping number of 666 PPS rats. :')

It's been active since 2011.

My numbers fluctuate depending on the species. I hoard G-Pigs, Dogs, Malks, and Draft horse’s. It took 2 years and 9 months to get to 3,000 on my draft horses and a year to hit 11,000 on dogs. I’m still working on all my hoards, no goal for any of them, hoard till I can’t hoard anymore.

took me about 5 or 6 years...

I'm back with some small updates on my hoard!! Last time I checked in I believe I had 12 rats, but I've made it up to 17 since then!! I'll admit the number could be higher, but I've been slacking off recently aha

To all the people responding to the large hoards question, I'm super impressed with the numbers you've managed to reach!! It's incredible how much dedication must've gone into gathering those pets, and it's almost surreal to see a hoard with so many pages. Especially for those of you who only focus on one outcome, because then you have endless pages of the same pet.

I have a question of my own to add: which one of your hoards has cost you the most overall, and can you estimate the value of your hoard based on what you traded for them? For me personally, I only actively hoard orange swirl rats, and I paid 25C$ for each of them minus the one I was gifted. That comes out to 400C$ spent on gathering my rats in total!!

interesting question! i'll cheat a bit and say my bmd hoard definitely puts the biggest dent in my "budget" both irl and online if i wouldnt periodically gift some away id have had over 27 bmds at this point.

but if you dont include lists, probably my stripey bois for which i pay about 15 c$ /pup or 09 rare for 2-3 of them. not counting he gifted ones, i invested about 400 c$ in them ;w;

this hoard is already worth at least a CEG just list wise. (or 7740C$)

not accounting for the fact that, besides gifts, I've overpaid massively for nearly every single one

I've swapped mid advents for them, sept lists, mains, store lists, 100 or more C$ each.
Sacrificed countless collection pets, items, a marionette, patchwork, clockwork, several hundred C$ and I don't even want to know how many old rares and lists. I'm pretty sure I'd have a complete collection by now if it wasn't for this
total amount paid?... definitely some sort of above gap main list by now. I'm too scared to even think of it : ' )

My Chinese New Year hoard. I used to trade lists/store pets/etc for massive quantities of them. I doubt anyone wants 36k+ pets, so no idea how you'd value the hoard. Might be fun to auction it or something though....

Its so nice to see someone hoarding these ratties!! I started hoarding the entire litter once they came out. I went on hiatus and finished it when I came back. I have a whopping 1000 of them and it was extremely expensive to try and get 200 of them in 2017. I wish you the best of luck! If you end up with any of the littermates let me know, Im willing to swap outcomes if you need!
