I agree with Solloby, this is why I personally swap any recent store pet for any other. Supply and demand are in perfect balance with store pets + the set price of 20 C$ stabilizes their value.

I agree, however the obvious exception being set exclusives. These seem to always be very rare (correct me if I'm wrong) but also as they tend to be cute PPS people really want them. This seems to have a high demand and high rarity factor, and a lot go for ridiculous overpay.

This guy was a set exclusive and became rare, but as you said it was most likely because he’s a cute little pps! 🥰

Yeah. I’d always value a VR storepet over a rare store pet regardless of their date.

The rarity tag means that this is how much are available. Sure the rare will turn into VR. Until then, the VR is worth more.

I agree with those saying a VR and rare store pet are worth (assuming similar dates) the same. They cost the same, and the difference in availability is made up for by increased popularity.

Just figured out this happened and being a quite old user at this point I may be stuck in my ways but I’m very displeased about this. I think it was better when there was at least an idea that people had to create an economy (ie for example petrol prices) but that’s just what I think.

The difference between this and petrol/gas prices is that one company can't charge an excessive amount more due to there being other companies to keep the prive fair and in line. Whereas there was no such thing with the list, so it was running rampant on it's own and not even it could keep up with the hyper inflated demand it caused or the misjudging of pet positions. Even if it wasn't retired, it would have needed a complete overhaul as the latest update showed

I wish the skelebun was as easy to get as it was on he list hahahaahah It will never be a pet easy to obtain due to it's place as an OMGSR store pet (Even before the update, but good luck on your endeavours and hopefuly you will find some list you want to follow!

Oh my. A lot has happened since I took to going on hiatus.

I can’t say I’m happy about this. The list had many flaws, but it was nice to have a basis for trading. Not sure where to go from here.

Very upset about the discontinuation of the list.

Also not liking the new rarity update too much either, as now the nons are on the same table as, say, the 08 UR Cat. I still value the 08 UR Cat at 2 Nons+ but without the list, it'll be harder to trade for that.

I'll probably lay off of trading until a new list/lists is/are established with numbers and data, or if I can find someone who still goes by the list. Now there's just something else to factor in when trading, as obviously the pets that were OMGSR before the rehaul are worth more than the pets that were OMGSR only after the rehaul. I feel like we need something in between OMGSR and VR, or something after OMGSR. /:
