Some updates:

Pink Sorbet went back to VR
Skull Rat and ??? Rat also went back to being VR
Sloth store pets are all VR
Dragon store pets (the ones before the sloth) are rare.
UR Squid and UR Avocado are OMGSR.

Not surprised that the pink sorb went down but very interesting to see that the nons all stayed omgsr.

I'm a bit surprised all the sloth store pets went VR, considering that they were so much cheaper than normal price I expected at least a couple to be rare.

I noticed that a lot of people did not want the sloths, so I am assuming people just didn't buy like they usually did. I know I had trouble trading off an extra I had, and it seemed like nobody wanted to trade for it even though it was on their wishlist.

I was just discussing how zebras are probably not worth more than URs because they are released every few months, and look at this xD

This zebra is currently VR! Also the UR bee went down too!

Soon means anywhere from next month to a couple of years.
These are just rough predictions over how many pets I’m able to find. I could be completely wrong!

I predict that this statue dog may go VR soon, it’s fairly hard to find even ones that aren’t in trading groups:

More URs & old pets close to OMGSR like the pink sorbet will go OMGSR. The zebra will probably go back up to OMGSR in a few months.
I’m imagining as older users return, a few old things may become a little easier to get and go down for a few months. There seems to be a few older users returning to their accounts to give away their pets.
Lots of New Years GUPPS will go rare soon.
Eventually, more event uncommons that were collected from token trade-ins or banners will go rare.

Still shocked about how the UR Bee went down to VR, I thought the bee was a little more rare than that. o.o I guess more bees got put in the economy more than usual this year.

A couple years ago we had a rarity shuffle so we wouldn't have o many in the common and un the uncommon range:

I feel like the pets are headed back to being that again. I'm not seeing a whole lot of new pets that are very common and no OMGSC.

It's been abut a year since this thread was last posted in, but I find it rather strange that we ended up with three pets as rares from the recent Holiday event and the rest nearly all uncommon. I'm not surprised at the new OMGSR store pets, it was only a matter of time. I'm wondering if a lot of empty accounts got deleted or if there's something else going on.

Its not too strange considering; yes they were free, but they were only released for 24 hours.
So not everyone got them/forgot a day.
