1. Can a pet have PPS randomly? Like when it's not separately in the archive, You can't add it to wishlist, but there is a possibility it will appear?

How should I label my collection? I need a straight answer because I can't decide- I was thinking:
•Year
•Species (it's a bit tricky because some for example dogs resemble other animals)
•Rarity
•Months/Events (for example all Halloween pets, no matter the year, in one group etc.)

personally i would either go for year + months and events [ e.g : halloween 2012 , october 2012 , november 2012 , etc ] , or just years . it’ll be much easier to organise and find the pets compared to species , and rarities of pets change every so often which a is trouble to go through the group and find those that have changed .

You can take a look at my organization for some inspiration! As someone who’s been collecting since 2009, I’ve organically expanded groups. C:

Simply, I have this sort of organization:

2009 Wolf/Dogs
2010 Wolf Dogs
…
2024 Wolf Dogs

Events(01) - Halloween ‘08
Events (02) - Christmas ‘08
…
Events (250) - Store Pets ‘21

and so on. C: I also use special characters at the beginning of the group names to help keep identical species together! Otherwise, the groups will automatically arrange them in alphabetical order, which can get very confusing and cluttered.

To me, sorting systems is when people's brains come out on display
Some people have simple set ups and then some (like me) have pure chaos.


Let the madness begin:

-0 is stuff I want up top
-1 is swaps (seasonal and monthly)
-1. is seasonal groups and bits and bobs (so active events go in here and then some reminder stuff)
0. is Trades/Auctions
00. is my CS junk drawer (that's the best way to describe it)
1. is sets and collections (ie store pet set, staff litters, URs, etc.)
2. artist specific and stuff that is so infrequent it didn't need a whole group (example: boop)
2.0(insert number) is when my sets begin; 2.08 - 2.24 (2008 - 2024)
3. sets missing a UR
4. hoards with unlimited amounts
5. hoards with unknown or unlimited amounts
(Note the difference of -1 and -1. -- the second has a dot)


My sets are sorted by:
Species
Date
Whether or not it's completed.

I also throw the date in the title twice.
Example


If it has multiple types (ie drafts and horses), I put the species first and type second.

Examples:
Horse
Horse, Draft

Hamster, Dwarf
Hamster, Syrian


Also, line edits are not factors.
So a cow is under ponies, not its own group.

Also- sorting; I feel like the way I do it might be chaotic to other people. Lol.
I sort monthly Adopts by species - each species has a newborn category so I can fish through for doubles easier.
Each staff littler is organized by year, as well as specific events -Summer Vacations, Chinese New Year, General Helpers.
Bigger holidays I e Christmas, Hanukkah, valentines, Halloween ect, just have one big group. Feel free to look through my pets for clarification 😂

I've been collecting advent 2008, so far I'm 40/65!
I did try this at one point, but I lost interest sometime. Now I'm picking this back up, and determined to finish advent 2008.
