Found a hint in Wobbuffet’s signature!
For what could be in common - maybe it’s that they’re both wearing clothes? This combined with all the pluto stamps in their stamp signature makes me think today’s growth could be Wobbuffet’s!

I think maybe Day 5 is Wobbuffets growth! I’m thinking the similarities between the two may be that both cats are technically different species, with 2021 being a bunny and 2022 being a cheetah (?)

Not quite, first guess that the cat in question is Lennie's, made the day the kitty grew.

Not quite! Every June (since 2016), there has been an annual release of the General Helper litter, which is a litter of kittens made by participating members of the General Helper team (listed near the bottom of the team page). ^^
You can see past GH litters here, in the GH Cat Resource Guide.

The staff litter - which are done on the dog lineart - is still an annual occurrence in September (formerly in November 2009-2012)! c:

Wow!!! I love the tree cat <3 I didn't know there were helper litters like this, this is amazing ^^ Are they a usual thing, or is this new? I would love to have additional staff litters to collect... C^:<

Yup! Since June 2016, general helpers do a cat litter every year
