I just thought I'd let you know that Donner' s name isn't "Donner" it's
Daunder, meaning thunder, as blitz means lightning for blitzen.
It's very commonly misconcepted that Daunder' s name is Donner because of the way it's pronounced

I can't find anything about this online? For as far as i know, 'donner' means thunder in german ->
http://dictionary.reverso.net/german-english/Donner - The only other way of spelling i've ever seen was 'Donder'
This comes up every time there are santa's reindeer pets.
There are several versions to the name. Donner, Donder etc. Neither is more correct than the other. It's just what you were brought up with

I absolutely love these deer! Why wouldn't they keep the lineart? Well, perhaps not for a regular adoptable, but special events, such as Valentine's, the CS birthdays, oh, and always Christmas. They're adorable!

I meant more like are here to stay as a regular adopt xD But i'll clear that up as i can see it causes confusion! I'm sure they'll re-use the line-art for other purposes<3

Don't worry about it xD as long as we agree that 'daunder/donner/donder/whatever you wanna spell it like' is cute, we're all good xD

I found this on the Donner/Dunder debate since the Reindeer Advent.
http://german.about.com/library/blgermyth05.htm Explains it a little better.
Quoted from the link:
"Dunder" and "Blixem"? You've always heard "Donner" and "Blitzen," right? The former were Dutch names written into the poem by Livingston. Only in later versions, modified by Moore in 1844, were the two names changed to German: Donder (close to Donner, thunder) and Blitzen (lightning), to better rhyme with "Vixen." Finally, for some reason, in the song “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” Marks turned "Donder" into "Donner." Whether Marks made the change because he knew German or because it just sounded better is uncertain.* In any event, there is certainly some logic in using German Donner and Blitzen (thunder and lightning) for the names. Since 1950 or so, the two reindeer names have been Donner and Blitzen in both the “Rudolph” song and the “Visit” poem.

I actually disagree with your placement of names for Dasher and Dunder. I picked the deer with the small lightning bolt beneath his eye to be Dasher, considering it shows speed and has nothing to do with Thunder. And Dunder because the one I picked for Blixem or Blitzen has lightning coming down his flank, that's what his name means. So then this one looks more like Thunder on him, plus lightning has nothing to do with him. The rest I agree with.
Here is my pick.

This one's coloured like a real Reindeer/Caribou. So, natural colouration I guess.
edit: As for the whole Donner/Blitzen thing, we need the artist(s) to confirm which are which. I'm sure they know.
Also, this one

makes me think of Red Velvet cake or something similar.
