Pet organization

Ok. I have had an account here for yeaaars. I am terrible at figuring out how to organize my groups. So, I am curious what everyone else's favorite method is? What makes the most sense/what do you like to see when you organize them? And when you guys go to trade - how do you prefer to navigate someone else's groups? I usually just look at wishlist pets and never really go through someone else's groups, but I know others do. I have like 100+ pages in the "unsorted" tab and I want to throw them into groups but can't decide if they need to be by month, by year, or by species
