2016 - Aaron✦
Using this color palette for a twilight sky looks so incredibly
magical to me, and I love foxes so much. This guy looks like
a little forest spirit. It's so mystical and pretty.
2017 - Aaron✦
Oop twice in a row, I struggled between this one and
Kyar's lion, but ultimately I am just mesmerized by this
design. The way the pattern somehow looks JUST like
both clouds and a swirled tabby cat pattern is just
insanely clever and so well done. The soft line color is
so pleasant, and the moon and sun being in opposite
"corners" of the design is just *chef's kiss* I can't get over
this design!!!
2018 - Burrito Bunny
I adore the line edits throughout every stage of this
outcome. The happy pose of the second stage is
absolutely adorable, and I love the adult's scruffy
coat. I also really like that they completely changed
this cat's base color as it grew. And anything with
tufty lynx ears is cute.
2019 - Burrito Bunny
Oh I did the same exact thing again lol. This cat
is actually what inspired me to add these guys onto
this post and expand the topic to the GH cat litters.
I cannot put into words how much I love this darling
little cat. The soft fuzzy coloring, the gorgeous eye
color, and of course the edited kitten lineart. This
is honestly probably top 5 cat designs on CS EVER
for me. The little white paws!!!!
2020 - Eagle's Eye
This color scheme makes me think of a soft
green meadow, and this cat reflects that. The
soft little flower details and pleasant simple
design are so sweet and calming. And I love her
little blush!
2021 - Wobbuffet
The bunny ears and tail! The winking second
stage with the wand! The cute little magician
outfit! This is probably my second favorite GH
cat ever after Burrito Bunny's 2019 cat.
2022 - Lennie
Astronaut kitten! Need I say more? The little
helmet and the stars on the suit are so cute!
I'm a big sucker for middle stage PPS cats too,
possibly my favorite site lineart lol.
2023 - Lennie
I guess nearly all the artists I chose for these
litters like to go 2 for 2 with me, because I
honestly almost said Wobbuffet's witch hat PPS
for the last year too, but Lennie's space theme
just hits it out of the park for me. I might have
to amend what I said about the bunny cat, now
that I've gotten to the final litter. This alien cat
is just so COOL. Such a genius use of the colors,
and I just adore the antennae and the rings.
These last two are particularly special to me too, as my partner and I will be going as an astronaut and an alien for Halloween this year! It's our first Halloween together as we got together just after it last year, and my first time doing a couples costume with someone. I secretly hope Lennie will somehow continue the space theme if they take part in the litter next June!
Gosh I love that CS decided to do a cat version of the staff litters to include some of the other helpers here! I'm more of a cat person anyway hahaha
