Why does everyone want December 18th pets? Why are they so valuable?

I have heaps of them and still no idea why so many people want them... ????
Also, are 2nd gen pets worth anything? Everyone seems to think they're worthless....

12/18 is the day pets that were released in previous months became available. Toxics, Galaxies, Moons and Suns were adopted out, and a lot of those are peoples' dreampets.

Second Gens are usually worth... about like pennies, but a bunch of them (unless they're being hoarded) isn't really favorable. The most common second Gens, the grey pair, are worth next to nothing unless you find someone who hoards them. Other second Gens, like the purple/green pair, are slowly getting some value to them.

I think you should keep the dog. Dogs are more valuable in trades, since most people collect dogs!

Kat I think thats fair trade. 8) I think apples are bit less rarer than that, but im no specialist.
