Why do you want a pen pal: often lonely, i get nervous unless i talk to at least someone.

I'd love to meet someone who has shared interests with me, and possibly someone who could help me improve my korean ( I'm having some problems with pronunciation, double vowels, and vocabulary in particular ). it would also be great to meet someone outgoing who can keep conversations active over time since I have trouble starting conversations on my own TTvTT please keep in mind that I'm not straight so I'd only like to talk to lgbtqa+-supportive people !!!

why do you want a pen pal:
I'd love to make some friends here on cs and discord !! most of my friend group has quit both so I'd like to find a reason to stick around and stay active here. I'd also love to make friends who talk to me pretty regularly since I tend to get bored staying home all day by myself <:

anything interesting about yourself:
I'm a high school grad who is currently undergoing physical therapy for a chronic illness. I'm obsessed with science, particularly genetics, zoology, biology, and botany, as well as history !! I also really love art, especially making traditional oil and watercolor paintings. I wish I was more physically fit so I could learn dance choreos to k-pop songs as well. I love nature a lot and really enjoy keeping houseplants to bring the outdoors in when I'm too anxious to leave the house. I have five cats, one leopard gecko, and one guinea pig, and I'm obsessed with all things pastel and soft. I'm currently prepping to make my first fursuit, but I can't decide which character to make LOL. I'm a big fan of k-pop, alt rock, indie pop, and r&b, I love reading poetry ( sappho is my favorite ), and I love shows / animes like downton abbey, murdoch mysteries, black butler, pokémon, craig of the creek, and steven universe.

Anything interesting about yourself: I'm dual-national, my Dad is from the UK but my Mom is from the US. I much preferred my time in the US, even the food was better. xD I don't leave the house much, not even for school now that I do that online, so I have a lot of time for games and TV!

Why do you want a pen pal: I'm pretty lonely. Don't really have too many people at school or home who care about my interests or what I'm feeling. Though I don't want pity, I just want someone who'll kinda talk to me and replace those friends who don't and it feels better for some reason to talk about it to people I don't know. Guess I'd just really love some friends who like what I like.
