Want to learn Japanese! ... and some french. (ignor-eth XP)

Konichiwa! Did I spell that right? Any how, I really want to learn how to speak Japanese. I only know a few works like kaji, mizu, ai, ki, neko, koneko, doragon, and domo. And I'd also like to learn some more french. My french is quite rusty and my french teacher teaches all other subjects, so some times she speaks french in subjects that are very difficult for me. All help is much appreciated!

I'd like to learn more animal names. (I only know chien and chat) And maybe some help with asking questions, like: "Can you help me with this?" or "Where is the (bathroom, classroom, dollar store)". It'd help me plenty. Especially since during french class we either speak french, or don't talk. (but no one wants an F so we do our best.) So ya. Merci bocu! (uh... did I spell that correctly?)

This is only a question and I don't know if you know the answer but, when spoken a certain way (I think the I is either longer or shorter) Can't Kawaii also mean scary? I know very little Japanese and am attmpting to learn (ITS COMPLICATED)
