Konichiwa!
I'm learing some too, just watched some animes but finished them. Does anyone have a good suggestion of what is a good anime to watch?

@Daisy: I really liked Hetalia, but it kind of faded out for me. I'm more of a manga person. ^^

However, if you plan on using anime to learn Japanese, there is only so much you can pull from it to use. Pronunciation practice from anime is okay, however, some characters use dialects. And usually the Japanese isn't typical conversational Japanese, or it could be considered very abnormal or offensive to a native speaker. You'd have better luck watching a Japanese drama, or even listening to Japanese music (one of my favorite groups is NewS ^^).

高校に日本語を勉強しました。でも好きじゃなかった。
it was boring and i no longer had a vested interest in learning it. too many hetalia fans in class. actually too many anime fans in class in general. it was annoying.
