I have some tips to using Oekaki, if you want them. ^^
For one, getting used to all the useful tools helps. When I first started using it I didn't know much about drawing programs except for paint. There is the pen and pencil tool. The difference between them is that the Pen tool has less of an ocupancy, meaning that it is fainter than the pencil tool. The Pencil tool is good for final lines, while the Pen tool is good for sketching.

Their are two eraser tools, one that is 'soft' looking and one that is much more pronounced. The Soft Eraser erases lighter around the edges while the Pronounced Eraser erases like the Pencil Tool draws, no smoothness around the edges.

Then there is the dodge and burn tool. The Dodge tool is good for highlighting fur and the background, perhaps when the sun shines down onto the subject you're drawing. The Burn tool does the opposite of that, shading instead of highlighting. It's good for, well, shading the darker areas of the subject. They both give more 'life' into a drawing.

Next is the eyedropper tool. Lets say you need to get a specific colour that is already painted on your canvas. Using the Eyedropper tool, click on that colour. It will then change your drawing colour to the selected one. It is very helpful.

There are alot more tools, but these, I think, are the most used and most helpful. If you have any questions or want a further explanation, feel free to PM me. ^^ Have a great day.

This is so wierd. I have a friend in real life that's from Canada and she has a paint horse called Domino Effect. xD Anyways though, welcome! It's so good to see new members.
