I just joined last thursday and I've just been vibing figuring this site out. my boyfriend helps a lot. but I keep seeing things and they're confusing me so I have just a few questions;
1) why do many people in raffles ask you to type your username? I'm not against doing it but cant you see the username in the reply anyway?
3) what the heck is a paper clip challenge

As for your first question, it is mostly because the username of a poster doesn't show up in a search, only the contents of the post. By writing your username into your post the person doing the giveaway can easily search for individual posts by username.
The paper clip challenge is a trading challenge in which you continuously trade up common pets to reach higher goals, that takes its name from the story of the man who traded from a paperclip to a house. For example you might trade someone multiple commons for their uncommon, repeat, and then trade those uncommons up for a rare.
