how do i change setting to show rarity on ptes

Is this what you mean? You can look for "Change pet display settings" once you go to your pets and click on it, then check off "Show pet rarities under pets when viewing pet groups". Although unknown rarities won't show their rarities for a while until they're fully grown. Let me know if this isn't what you meant.
