whats an advent and what is special about dec 18th? i'm really confused

Hello bigsnowflake331, it's great to meet you and welcome to chickensmoothie!

"Advent" may refer to the advent calendar, which is an event held every year in December on Chickensmoothie. You can find the advent calendar page under the "Adopt" tab at the top of the page.
"Advent" (e.g. advent pet, cream advent) is sometimes also used to refer to pets on the advent list section of the now-defunct rares list. It has only recently been discontinued, so sometimes people use outdated terms to refer to pets on these lists.

On the 18th, all of the old pets ever released on the site are released again. Everyone can adopt three pets that day, and in it, you have the chance of getting any older pet, or possibly an 'Unreleased' pet. These pets, otherwise known as URs, are only released through the 18th of December rerelease. Since they are only available on this day, you must be very lucky to get one!
