hello everyone! i'm alydia and i'm excited to be joining chicken smoothie! the amount of pets on here is a bit daunting but their designs and patterns are really nice! if anyone has any tips for me, that would be greatly appreciated! i'm especially wondering how i should sort my pets and if there is a convenient way to get pets from past years. ^.^

People sort their pets in different ways. I sort mine by the month or event they were released, but others do things like species, color, etc - whatever is most convenient for you!

Hey Alydia, welcome to CS!! Two of my big tips would be to always adopt as many pets as you can, you can trade doubles/ones you don't like for ones you do; and to make it less daunting, don't set targets that are super hard super early, it can be easy to lose motivation.
A really good way to earn earlier pets if you have any art skills is to take commissions, but you can also try offsite trading if you have accounts anywhere else. Also check out the free pets forum and the pound frequently - you can get lots of stuff to help you get started there.
