My name's Light Steps but feel free to call me light. I just literally join a few moments ago and I really hope I can enjoy myself here. I don't talk much but I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. If anyone has any tips or advice for a newbie I'd be happy to hear.

And for advice I think the best thing to do would be to try playing some forum games and get to know some people that way. You could also try joining a roleplay that really gets you making friends. Clubs as well are also helpful!

It's also smart to read up on the rules and FAQ's like Irisidium has in links above. Also if you're thinking of trading it's good to read up on rarities and their worths as well as just trying it out. No one will be mad if you're just trying things out for the first time.
