hey there! welcome to the site. i'm quincy.
here's some resources for you:
first of all, here's the site rules. you should check these out before anything else.
here you can find the frequently asked questions.
you can send in a help ticket here, to get help directly from staff. unlike some other sites, the cs staff are very friendly and will get back to you before you die of old age (in my experience, it'll take no more than a few days).
this is the help forum, where you can get help from other players, as well as staff.
those are the basics. you can find those under the help section at the top of your screen c:

this is the newbie guide and index. it's a great thread that'll help you out a ton.
same with the must read topics for newbies.
here's adopt a newbie. here there are experienced players volunteering their time to work with newbies one-on-one.

you should check out the "is this a fair trade?" thread. they'll help you to not get scammed out of your pets.

the comfort corner. a place to vent, to cry, as long as you follow the thread rules.

find some fun games in this forum

monthly adoptions. cs has free pets available every month, so make sure to check back each month for them.
there's also the pound, which opens at random. you can grab one pet every three hours, if it's open. there are sometimes valuable pets in there, so be quick!
cs has pets and items for free around certain holidays, which they announce on the home page. here's the page for valentine's day and chinese new year.
cs free adoptions. this is where people give away free pets and host giveaways.
want to trade pets? here's the forum. i'd suggest making a thread in that forum, and bump it when it falls off the first page. if you'd like an example, you can look at my trade thread here.
