I’d recommend checking the Adopt a Newbie program and get an adopter, whom you can get advice from and ask questions.

The Basics;
Now that you've joined the site the first thing you should do - and probably the best thing to do - is to take a look at the newbie guide. Upon reading it, there will be all the basic things you need to know about Chicken Smoothie. Though, if there is something you still would like to know that has not been picked up on in the guide, leave a question or response by posting a reply - someone will help you wether that be a regular player/user of CS or a member of the staff team. You can always get help from the staff personally if you have a question that you would prefer be answered in private.

If you're looking to get right into the game, and feel like you're doing okay on your own so far and have no need to read the newbie guide, you can visit this page to adopt the free monthly pets, browse this board as many people give away free pets and items each and every day or take a look at the pound and give homes to those pets who have been confiscated from or donated by other players.

About Roleplaying;
Seeing as you said you were interested in roleplay/roleplaying I think it would be best if you took a quick look here. So many people make and participate in role-plays all the time, so there should be no trouble in finding one that suits you. Before you role-play however, I recommend taking a look at the beginners guide to role-play and reviewing the human and animal roleplaying rules.
