I just joined last night so I'm pretty much wandering around the site with no idea what I'm doing and what's going on.

Okay so,done with this,i will begin with the basics.

You have several clickable links:

"Home" "My Pets" "Adopt" "Store" "Forum" "Archive" "Pound" "Oekaki"

HOME-> The Home tab will bring you to the...erm...Home page of the website.You go there to find the most recent Site News,and find event banners(such as Christmas,Easter,Halloween,St Patrick's,April Fools,CS Birthday,Staff Birthday surprises,and even SPECIAL events,which usually occur during summer)-YES,we do celebrate all of those on CS.
MY PETS->As the name suggests,this tab brings you to your pets.It opens in a group named "Pets without a group",were all your pets go automatically unless you do some settings here and there.By settings,i mean creating new groups,of course!
ADOPT->Well,every month,you get a new set of pets here on CS.What i advise you to do is to adopt the MAXIMUM amount of pets possible,even if you do not like them,in order to get trade fodder,and not risk missing outcomes.
STORE->The store....this is the big wheel of CS if you want to call it like this.Using specially bought c$,you can get unique items and,once every 3 months,a new set of STORE PETS!(20 c$=1 $)But the store hides some free items as well!Go check it out,you will see some cute items here and there ^^
ARCHIVE->In the archive,one can find EVERY SINGLE PET that has ever existed and that exists on CS.You can make up wishlists of pets you want,and remove them from the wishlist once you managed to get them!
POUND->Yes, Chicken Smoothie has a pound for homeless, confiscated, or sometimes just donated pets. Some of these poor babies were mistreated by their rule-breaking owners in the past, so have wound up in the pound (yes, true story, so make sure you follow the rules here or your pets could end up here too )When the pound is open, this page will have pets from the pound on it that you can adopt instantly by clicking the "Adopt me" button underneath each pet. We randomly open the Pound every now and then, so check back often to see if it's open . You can adopt at most one pet every 24 hours, so choose wisely!These poor pets are here because they've had a hard life already, so please only adopt them if you're going to take good care of them! If for whatever reason you no longer want your pet, send him back to username "Pound".
OEKAKI->In case you have a tablet,and know how to draw,you can do so in Oekaki!

My top tips for starting out are:

• Don't be ashamed if you don't know something because you're a newbie. Just politely ask someone, we were all newbies once upon a time.
• Always be polite. Some older members are rude to newbies anyways, but always be polite.

Administrators are Tess and Nick, they own the site. Admin Assistants are like Sorren Fey, basically they help with anything the admins need. CS Staff help with the site. Global moderators, edit and search the forums to help keep them in order. General Helpers, help anyone that may need it. Oekaki Moderators search the Oekaki forums and drawings to make sure no one is tracing and that all art is original, along with moderating. Roleplay Moderators, search the roleplaying forums for anything unusual or inappropriate etc.

1. We were all newbies once upon a time, and we all made those trades that we regret now. Don't make that same mistake as I and many others did. Check out This thread it's give great advice!
2. Never create 2 accounts!! I can't stress this one enough, you don't want to be banned do you?
3. Never be afraid to PM (private message) me.
4. The General Helpers are there for a reason, use them
5. Don't worry if you think CS (Chicken Smoothie) is difficult and confusing now. You're new, and after a few short days of browsing the site, everything will come together.
