Call me RNTN (WREN-tin.)
If I were to pick an idiom to describe myself, it would be this one: "Hail-fellow-well-met."
I'm a guy currently attempting to handle living on my own as I prepare my portfolio for my return or art school next fall.
I listen to most music genres, but contemporary ("indie") rock, R&B, soul, and hip-hop are what currently dominate my music scene.
I love to draw, but I am terribly out of practice. In my free time, I work in my self-built home studio to improve my drawing skills. I am also teaching myself how to sculpt, make molds, and cast jewelry. I will be attending classes at one of the Art Institute locations starting next Fall (probably their last quarter for 2013) to major in Media Arts and Animation. My overall goal is to use what I learn there to build up the skills and connections I need to, hopefully, run my own little "business" as a freelance artist. As well as make my own web series. :U
I like body mods. A lot. Sadly, I can't quite afford all the ones I want. But, the time will come.
I am a casual gamer who's childhood was infused with SNES, PS1, N64, and Gameboy/Gameboy Color games. Nowadays I play around a bit on Steam and XBOX (when I have access to one.) Sadly, I lost most of my games and consoles when I moved, but I am looking into rebuilding it (especially my "retro" collection.)
Chicken Smoothie is something I joined in hopes of making friends and killing some free time at work.
So, please, feel free to chat me up! I like hearing from everyone. I'm pretty easy to get to know, but I am a busy person, so I may not send the swiftest of replies.
