What date did you register as a CS member?
November 13th, 2009
How many posts have you made in the forum?
4454
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
All 7, but I might not be able to make it on some Fridays.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Approximately four+ on weekdays, weekends can go up to 10 hours.
Have you moderated on any other forums before?
No, unfortunately. But I am a moderator at a character adoption center here on CS.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes. I love colouring in pup adoption and horse lines, as well as reference sheets. I also do a lot of spray brush backgrounds. (:
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes -- it amazes me what some poeple can do with Oekaki. I surely can't do much.
I am usually at the Competitions, Colored In, and Intermediate Oekaki boards most likely.
When I am on the Oekaki board, I usually look for proper crediting and the like, as well as art-theft. I've been the victim of theft more than once, and I do not tolerate art-theft at all.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I'm the type of person that needs something to do, something to make me feel important. I think moderating would keep me busy, and make me feel as if I am contributing to CS.
And, like everyone else here, art theft really ticks me off. I am usually floating around Google images, dA, and stock websites a lot, so I probably can tell if something's taken from elsewhere, and if so, if it was stolen or not credited correctly.
Just recently, I have been asking people to take stamps from their signatures, because the stamp artist from dA has clearly stated that they are not to be taken off-site. I have also reported art theft a couple of times.
Really, I want to become an Oekaki Moderator so that CS stay family-friendly, clean, and doesn't get pursued/punished by law for having counterfeit art.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
* Hmm, well... I am not too terribly blunt -- I usually tell people what and why.
* I am not hot-headed... I'm just not. I am easily offended, mind you, but that does not make me angry at a person, and I will not yell at someone, ever. I can get mad at people, but I will either then be blunt or just be firm. I am firm when I am angry, not a scream-box.
* I, as mentioned before, moderate at a character adoption agency, where I deal with art pieces all the time. I also judge so they go to suitable homes.
* Again, as mentioned before, I visit dA, Google images, and stock websites frquently.
* I can speak/type up to level 3 Spanish, and I have excellent grammar and punctuation. I try to be as clear as day.
* My grandmother is an artist up in Canada, so she usually tells me lots of things about art.
Well, that's all I can say without wasting typing space or repeating myself. Good luck everyone and thank you!
