What date did you register as a CS member?
November 13th, 2009

How many posts have you made in the forum?
4454

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
All 7, but I might not be able to make it on some Fridays.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Approximately four+ on weekdays, weekends can go up to 10 hours.

Have you moderated on any other forums before?
No, unfortunately. But I am a moderator at a character adoption center here on CS.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes. I love colouring in pup adoption and horse lines, as well as reference sheets. I also do a lot of spray brush backgrounds. (:

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes -- it amazes me what some poeple can do with Oekaki. I surely can't do much. I am usually at the Competitions, Colored In, and Intermediate Oekaki boards most likely.
When I am on the Oekaki board, I usually look for proper crediting and the like, as well as art-theft. I've been the victim of theft more than once, and I do not tolerate art-theft at all.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I'm the type of person that needs something to do, something to make me feel important. I think moderating would keep me busy, and make me feel as if I am contributing to CS.
And, like everyone else here, art theft really ticks me off. I am usually floating around Google images, dA, and stock websites a lot, so I probably can tell if something's taken from elsewhere, and if so, if it was stolen or not credited correctly.
Just recently, I have been asking people to take stamps from their signatures, because the stamp artist from dA has clearly stated that they are not to be taken off-site. I have also reported art theft a couple of times.
Really, I want to become an Oekaki Moderator so that CS stay family-friendly, clean, and doesn't get pursued/punished by law for having counterfeit art.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
* Hmm, well... I am not too terribly blunt -- I usually tell people what and why.
* I am not hot-headed... I'm just not. I am easily offended, mind you, but that does not make me angry at a person, and I will not yell at someone, ever. I can get mad at people, but I will either then be blunt or just be firm. I am firm when I am angry, not a scream-box.
* I, as mentioned before, moderate at a character adoption agency, where I deal with art pieces all the time. I also judge so they go to suitable homes.
* Again, as mentioned before, I visit dA, Google images, and stock websites frquently.
* I can speak/type up to level 3 Spanish, and I have excellent grammar and punctuation. I try to be as clear as day.
* My grandmother is an artist up in Canada, so she usually tells me lots of things about art.

Well, that's all I can say without wasting typing space or repeating myself. Good luck everyone and thank you!

What date did you register as a CS member?: Tue Nov 02, 2010 1:15 pm

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 710

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Ususally everyday as long as I have access to a computer. I am usually at school all day until 6:45 on tuesdays and thursdays, but try to stop by for a bit.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? About 2-6 hours, on weekends about 12.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them No....Sorry :[

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Yup! Great lover of art!

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I try in every way I can to give back to the websites i am a part of. I play on chicken smoothie for free, and I feel that this would be a great opportunity to give back to the members and its staff. I also really enjoy helping keep things in order, and maintaining a safe and playable environment for everyone, whether it be online, or offline. I am also a believer that art theft is not something that can go overlooked. Even though I am not the best artist, I have been a victim of art theft before on FooPets. So I know how it feels to have something you've worked extremely hard for taken away from you.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) In 6th, 7th, and 8th grade I was a peer mediator for my middle school. During this time, I also took a TRU class which also gave me skills on how to avoid dangerous and horrible issues and conflicts.

What date did you register as a CS member?

July 21st, 2010

How many posts have you made in the forum?

3246

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?

All the time that I can, unless family issues etc.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

2-3 mostly, maybe more.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them.

I have a while ago but I really can't remember them.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?

A couple times, I have a tablet and I plan in my free time to draw more.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?

Yes, because I love to see the amazing artwork. Sometimes it gives me inspiration for my own Oekaki.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?

Well, I have applied for many things before in CS, and never gotten them. I think I'd like spending my time on the Oekaki boards, and modding, because usually I sit there bored with nothing to do if I've already over-looked the Oekaki boards.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

I can react very calmly to situations. I won't yell, or be offending if I give someone a warning and they foe me. I know how to use this 'power' not for my own good to get back at someone or get a custom. This is a giant leap from my position now and I hope that you consider me for the job of Oekaki Moderator.

1. What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)
January 17th 2010

2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
1615 (Including this one)

3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
7 days a week unless I'm unable to get to a computer.

4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
4+ hours usually. This time may be shortened a bit due to band practice during the week.

5. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
No, I have not.

6. Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes. I use the oekaki quite a lot.

7. Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Yes. Usually through sketches and experiments, or intermediate. I enjoy helping artist who request it. I will spend time in the beginner section to view the drawings that come up there.

8. Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I don't want to be an oekaki moderator just to be one. I take the oekaki forum seriously, and I want to do everything I can to help it run smoothly. I would also like to stop some of the art/character theft that goes on in the oekaki forum. Being an oekaki moderator seems to be a great way to give back to the staff for everything that they do for us. I'm willing to help out, and I really would like to help in this way.

9. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position I can communicate clearly to anyone who comes to me. I can also give critiques/advice without seeming insulting. I'm not afraid to say what needs to be said though.

I want to become an Oekaki Moderator but I have not been on CS long enough, even though I usually get on about 2-4 Hours a day (sometimes more). Is there anyway around this?

Rai-kun: Yup, I'll be gone for a while, guys. Ya know, movin' and all. :/ I might be back on after high school settles down, but we'll just have to see how everything pans out!

I believe you must meet criteria, no short cuts.

No, you must meet the requirements, no exceptions.

It's also to be fair, because some people, like me, have been here since '08, '09 and want a chance, and it isn't fair to get the job swiped from a person that hasn't been on as long as us, since we are more familiar and knowledgable with the site. It's a seniority thing.

There are also people on here 4+ hours a day, which also wouldn't make it fair to someone who is loyal and on 7+ hours a day.

What date did you register as a CS member?:
Saturday, February 19th, 2011

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
795 including this post.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Seven days a week.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Three hours on weekdays, up to five hours on weekends.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
(.)

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
Yes I have. I'm not the best drawer on it, however it is a very impressive tool which I hope gives me practice to draw better on it in the future.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Usually once a day I look over the drawings in the oekaki board. I enjoy examining other users creations, and often comment on them. The most frequent Oekaki boards I browse are "Colored in" and "Beginners Oekaki".
More then once I correct a mistake made by the user, and/or help them.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I really can think of only one reason why I wish to become a moderator,
To assist Chickensmoothie.com and its players.
I'm not looking to gain respect.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)

- I can and will be strict.
- I can keep a straight head and won't overeat.
- I'm mature over the subject of rule breaking, and take things seriously.
- I check things over almost dozens of times before reporting, and/or correcting a mistake.
- I overall have a friendly chatty side.
- I'm patient, and willing to help.

I'm quite sure I won't get this position, which I can handle. Being a user is also a great place, and at most times, very helpful towards the site.

Good luck to everyone who filled out the form. C:

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 300
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? 6-7 – I go out on Sundays but sometimes make it back in time for ½ to 1 hour in the evening
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 2-5 hours
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: I started my own small forum, that acquired 28 members, but unfortunately it has crashed and been so for a while.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes, I really love especially the adoptable oekaki and since I bought my tablet I’ve had great fun colouring too.
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? I love to admire how there are so many different types of art, so yes, and if I see something particularly amazing, I often PM it’s creator to ask how they did it and tell them how much I admire it etc. – oh and I “like” it of course!!
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? Well, as I said, I had great fun being admin of my own forum, and I love chicken smoothie. I have always admired the staff so much, and I love helping others myself. I like to think I have quite a cool temperament, I definitely don’t see myself getting angry if anyone complains about me. I have so many great friends on CS who would give me lots of help & support, and also I really “dislike” people who deliberately disobey the rules, or simply can’t be bothered to read them,I love art (if it helps at all I won the art prize at my school last this year.) I don’t tend to blab on but I desperately want this job!
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
I am good at telling if people are really sincere, so if a see a rule-breaking post, I can probably tell if the person was just being careless etc., or has deliberately ignored the rules, thinking they won’t be discovered. I am sensible, and if I have a problem with quick, rash thinking it is that I sometimes worry about something too much!!
P.S I do live in England so is this a problem (timezone wise?)
throwback to 2011 when i was on here and some girl convinced me her parents tried to put her down because she had cancer. you can read the whole thing here... i was 9 okay? decided to go on my account 6 years later for the memories i guess. im very gay and very not a furry now
