Tess, I created a few extra accounts before the rule was made. I doublechecked at the time. Then, when I saw the rule was made, I didn't touch them again.

Seriously, you made 7 accounts specifically so that you could get around our adoptions limits. How could you possibly think that that would be okay?

Maybe because I'm her friend, and I was talking to Tess through PMs about having more than one account one time (I can pull the PM up, if needed) and I was told that people did it all the time and she couldn't punish anyone because it wasn't specifically a rule. So I had mentioned this to Adaya, accounts were made, then the rule popped up on the same day. I honestly don't see how it's fair for her to be punished over this given what I was told. And I certianly don't think it's fair to take ALL her November pets, even the ones not from the extra accounts.

From what Tess told me about the rules and how people were punished when it came to them, I don't see how she should be in trouble, if they were made before the rule was even made and enforced.

Thank you, Buffy. Yes, Tess said herself that there wasn't a rule against multiple accounts. And like I said, I doublechecked before I created mine to make sure there wasn't a new rule. So, that's why I was bringing this to Tess' attention, because I feel I've been wronged here... *sigh*

EDIT: And if it was so wrong (which I still don't think it was, because it wasn't against any rules), then why didn't everyone who created extra accounts get punished? Tess was fine with anyone who declared them. And I didn't yet, but I already explained to you that I was on vacation and planned to right when I got home.

My brother is just as much an admin here as me, what he says stands. I am sorry that there was a change of rules which landed you in this predicament, and it may seem unfair...

but I ask you, how is it fair for everyone else if I allow you to keep all the extra pets you gained by having multiple accounts? I am not just looking out for the individual here, but for everybodies happiness and their right to a fair chance at adopting/trading and getting the pets they want. When I find people who have thwarted the system to get extra pets, it is only fair to the rest of CS that we now track down, stop and penalize these people.

6. MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS - each user is now only allowed one account. If you already have multiple accounts, please PM Tess to have your pets transferred onto your main account.

- If I find people with multiple accounts who haven't PMed me about it, I will delete the accounts AND put the pets in the pound, so you'd better declare them to me to have your pets moved to your main account safely.

People breaking the rules will be issued a warning - which will stay on record unless I decide to delete them. People breaking too many rules too often may be banned.

Nobody is in trouble yet, it is a new rule, and multiple accounts were ok before. So there is an amnesty period where I will move your pets safely to one account if you PM me about it - no questions asked

When I look at your forum posts, you have been on almost every day since then. On very few occasions you skipped a day.

I don´t want to judge whether or not you created these accounts (accidently) on the same day the new rule with the limited number of adoptions came up, but for sure you had more than enough possibilities to clarify your point before that Monday.

My own post in here was a kind of late, too. But that was just to reassure that my sisters account won´t be deleted.

I think I declared my extra accounts something like the second day this rule came up. My other accounts got deleted a long time ago by Tess. I just wanted to go sure, that this account of my sister is published in a public thread, even though I declared it already in the PM to Tess, I was sending for the double accounts.

I just can imagine, that it is hard sometimes, to decide, which accounts are from siblings and which accounts are made up to cheat the system.

Tess gave AMPLE warning about the new rule. I believe 2 full weeks passed after she announced it, AND gave reminders that if you had an extra account you had to let her know.

I had an extra account and let her know that day. The people who followed the rules were NOT punished.

I fully support Tess and Nick on this as hoarding pets on extra accounts just so you have a chance at the rares is not fair.

I am sorry, but I feel no one was wronged but rather the people who didn't comply with the regulation are the ones wronging all of us who do. This is also nothing unusual, many petsites have the same restrictions and are just as strict.

She is right I have my full support in Tess and Nick.
7 accounts is way to much!
If you had two and INFORMED Tess you would not have had any account deleted.
Breaking the limit 6 times is very very bad.
Tess made the LIMIT for a reason to follow it not a way around it!
Making accounts as Topizots said is UNFAIR because you want either more pets or more chances of getting a rare for trade.
I'm your friend here Buffy and Adaya Just try and follow the rules.
