Hi!

I have a bit of an odd question. It is regarding the layers.
I see that the three pets from the application are on the same layer, could I divide them into 3 different sets of layers with their corresponding lineart, shading, etc.?

You can sort/split the layers however you'd like as long as you do not edit the apperance/lineart/shading/etc. itself.

Applications will likely be open for a couple weeks. There will be an announcement of the exact deadline when we're getting closer to it, giving you plenty of warning to finish up any last minute entries. Just keep an eye on the title and first post of this thread and get your entry in as soon as you're able to.

In order to apply you need to find a way to edit a PSD file. From what I am reading, it should be possible with that application. I hope this can help: https://ibispaint.com/newFeature.jsp?la ... plications.

hi, sorry for asking another question so quickly after just asking one but how many pets and/or items are guest artists expected to make? Also are there positions that just suggest little concepts or is it only like final solid designs? (if this is confusing I will try and clarify better if needed lol)

Guest artists often only create things for us once, or maybe a couple times a year. This would be something like a litter/set of pets, or an item set. Official artists would be expected to make content much more regularly.

It's always super exciting to see artist applications. I'm always tempted to, but I usually just practice my designing skillz. Mayhaps someday I will submit an application of my own. Good luck to everyone who applies and gets considered for the position!

Hi again! do guest artists choose when they make a litter or item? Or are they asked to? (sorry for yet another question)
