New Lost and Found feature! Rescue some items!

I'm not a fan of the lost and found. I never use items, I'm just here for the pets. I feel like this addition is going to make pet collecting even harder since we'll only be able to adopt from the pound half as much as before. Super disappointed but I'll keep an open mind, maybe it'll surprise me. Does anyone else feel this way?

I have a question that I was thinking a lot about last night. Earlier in the year, I saw a post someone made discussing the pound running out of pets. While I know the lost and found has been a feature in the works for a while now, on said same post I did see a staff member saying that there might not be another 200k pound event on the next CS birthday, as the original point was to empty out the excess pets the pound was holding, and there might not be enough to do it again. Which begs the question, will we perhaps be getting a 200k item event instead? As someone who’s a bit of an item collector, I personally think that would be really cool, especially considering the pound has at least a decades worth of banned users items in there that are likely way more plentiful than pets.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I had a hard enough time catching the pets before this is going to make it at least twice as hard. And I don't know if it's just to meet grand-opening demand or what, but I haven't even seen it mention the pound side since they've turned it on. It's lost and found every time I've checked.

Edit: It is a grand opening thing -- didn't read back a page. Take that off my to-do list for a while.
