I've got a question and I don't think it's been asked before. Say you do become a general helper, but then later on you decide you'd like to be a roleplay mod. Could you apply for that position later on even if you're already on CS staff? ( I really wanted to apply for both but I wasn't old enough to be a roleplay mod yet so I just applied to be a GH )

yes. if you are to become a general helper this year and then you are old enough to become a roleplay moderator next year, then you can apply for it and "move up" among the ranks.

you give up the gh position. instead of having a salmon name, you have a blue-purple name tag and have a few more permissions.

Technically, you would still be in the GH group, though. As you can see here, Verdana (excuse me for using you as an example) is an admin assistant. She is still in the general helpers group though, because she was once a general helper. If you click on her profile and click groups, you'll see that she is still included in the general helpers group, even though she moved on to a higher position c:

How long will those who get offered one of the jobs will be given to either decline or accept the offered position?

You don't. You apply for a certain position and if the staff pick you, you get a PM telling you that you've got the job. It can take a few weeks for this to happen though, as the staff need to sort through all the applicants and choose the very best.

Actually, we give users the option of accepting or declining the position. Things may change in those few weeks of waiting to be possibly chosen and may no longer want the position. As for the time frame, that's up to Tess and how long she's willing to wait to hear back from the successful applicants.

hey guys, please only answer questions if you are 100% sure of the answer. if you are even a little unsure, fact check to make sure you are good. this will make it so there is no confusion among people. thank you!

Actually, could we please just let staff members answer the questions, sometimes answers get a bit muddled with parts that are correct and parts that aren't. I feel like most of these questions have been already answered and/or are better suited for staff who are in the know.

If a user become a GH, can they still send in a help ticket if they don't understand something?
