I love the new lines, and while like everyone else I do wish the old lines hadn't been copied, the artists did a great job.

Ooh, it's interesting to see who did what on the conversions(actually I'd love an official list somewhere on the site that showed who created which lineart, maybe a page in the archive specifically for that?). The foxes look lovely on the new lineart.

There was a particular reason they moved them. If we switch back again, that'll still just be copyright.

I don't know why people feel the need to complain and insult the art. The new lines look lovely and even if they didn't I wouldn't go around saying how much I hate them and how terrible they are. It doesn't matter if you say "no offense artists," it's still rude. The artists worked hard on these and people need to learn to be grateful. The CS artists are people too, and they have feelings. I imagine most of you would pretty upset if someone told you how much they hate your art. So please think before you post and be respectful and kind. Treat others as you want to be treated <3

I'm sorry but did I hear you right? I think what you just meant to say is 'people can't express their own opinions, because they will hurt people's feeling even if they say no offence' I know you don't want to let people hurt someone else but it's not right, it's like you're saying 'you guys can't vote for that person as class president because it will make me feel sad' it just isn't right so please don't say that again. You're expressing your opinion and then saying others can't, lease stop this behaviour.

Nope, I didn't mean anything else. I meant my exact words. It is harassment and bullying to tell someone you hate their artwork and think it is terrible. Expressing your opinion in a respectful manner is one thing, but insulting something someone worked hard on is another. It's fine to say "Aww, I miss the old foxes. These ones look a little too realistic." But saying "I hate the new lines! They are terrible!" is NOT okay.

It's disappointing that the old lines have to go (since we're used to them), but totally understandable this needs to be done. And the new fox lineart is very adorable <3


Though I'm a bit confused. And I'm confused with these socks:

The horse/pony lineart threads have been locked and apparently the project is done, but these socks are still in the old horse lineart. Is this just an item that has accidentally been missed?

I think those only fit the ponies.

The socks currently change to fit the original equi horse lines rather than any of the new ones. It's possible they were missed in the update - I'll ask about them. :3

I don't get why everyone has to have atleast a million things to say about how bad the new lines are, they're as perfect as any other pet on chicken smoothie. Nothing is always perfect, thats the one thing you should always remember when you see a pet you don't like, you have to know that the staff worked hard to make them to make US regular members and new members happy.

Yes, we liked the old lines, but would you like to have a chance of something bad happening etc. due to copyright?

Well yes, i know we all have our own 'Personal reasons', maybe because we knew the older lineart longer, or because your just raged because the old lineart was from a copyrighted photo. People should get over it, because the new lineart was made by the staff themselves, and that means you dislike the staff in a way, and yes, i may be right about that. We need to move on, but we can still remember the happy times with those pets, especially if you had them, but you have another reason now to like them, because they were not from a copyrighted photo!
