I like both. >_> But my mom is gonna kill me if I am going to even ask for donating Sooo...No birdie for me....She won't let me donate cuz she already let me to buy stick insect eggs(she hates ALL insects,reptiles and non-fur animals,expecially snakes,BUT I LOVE SNAKES! ) and now she will not let me to spend money on anything else for some months. >_> Anyways,I voted for both,but looks like white-faced is winning! ^^

Hi Tess,

instead of choosing between the colours, do yourself and the birds a favour and take two of them.

Then you can have one of each colour.

I used to breed parakeets and had a lot of books about bigger variations, too.

And no matter which book I was reading, they always recommended to have at least two birds, because having just one causes problems like them pulling feathers, screaming to loud, becoming depressive and so on.

And they said, too, that a human could never fill in the gap of being a real partner for one bird, because they are used to live in a swarm and a human being just can´t be around for 24 hours, like another bird can do it. The gender is less important, if you don´t plan to breed. Even birds of the same gender can live happily together.

So, if your cage is big enough, please try to get two of them, no matter what colour. It might saves you a lot of costs for the vet in future.

im planning on getting a bird too-since i just recently lst my budgie.
though my parents will be helping me pay for the animal while i pay for its housing and care and stuff XD
