Something else I think would be nice, seeing how we have a lot of "*insert pet species here* owner" stamps, is to have one that covers all kinds of pets. Maybe a stamp could say "Professional Pet Owner" or something like that?

See, I have four cats, a dog, and two guinea pigs, and since I love the pet stamps and don't want to leave anyone out, they're taking up a decent amount of space in my collection. I think a general "Pet Owner" stamp would be useful, and it would also help if people have some kind of really exotic animal that isn't covered by another stamp. ^^
Also, the Pisces horoscope stamp has the Scorpio background? Oh, nevermind. I just saw the first post update. ^^'
myth + destiny wrote:This might sound criticizing, but I think this might not be such a good idea. In the roleplay forum we are not aloud more than one image per post because it slows the server, yet adding an extra post section full of images is going to make that issue better? Sorry but I have to disagree with this whole idea, it conflicts on the other rules and questions their importance.
I like the stamps and all, but this is pretty pointless considering the one image roleplay rule is still in effect.
The issue with roleplay images is that a lot of the ones people use have rather large filesizes, which would cause the page to lag. Because roleplays often have post after post of different images, particularly with forms, the lag can become a real hassle for people on mobile, with slower internet connections, etc. The one-image rule helps to limit that.
The stamps, however, are only a few kB in size, and with everyone picking from the same collection of images, they're unlikely to create the same problem. If anything, they're better than regular signatures where people often have large images and animations that could also slow down the page considerably.
You can read the longer explanation from Nick on the first page:

Although there are more of them, the filesizes are small. On average, a stamp is about 9 kB, compared to 45kB for a simple dressed pet like this one:

One animated gif from Tumblr on it can be as large as 815kB, like this one:

That's equivalent to loading 90 different stamps. And because everybody uses the same stamp images, you only have to load them once and then your browser can just cache them for next time.
