'Fake' pets.

Recently, a trend of 'Fake' and pretend pets have been cropping up, causing some problems in places, so as such we need to clarify a few things. Fake pets are OK as long as they follow the rest of our art and site guidelines. Here are some guidelines below to ensure that these pets do not cause any more problems.

• Fake pets with 'Name's Pet' on the bottom, like CS pets, are ok.
• Fake pets may NOT have the Chickensmoothie/CS tag on it. They are not CS pets, and this tag on fake pets is misleading users into believing they are missing out on actual pets. It is also causing the creators/users of these fake pets hassle as they are being Privately Messaged about trading pets which don't exist.
• Fake pets are subject to all art and site rules. This includes art theft, fursona/design theft, and copying CS pet designs. You may not do any of these things to make a fake pet.
• You may not, at any point, claim these fake pets to be real Chickensmoothie pets or try to pass them off as such. As such, anyone caught scamming users out of their genuine pets for 'fake' pets which they mislead people to be real, will be in serious trouble. Do not accept trades from people who claim they will 'give you their (fake) pet' once you give them your pets.
• The only exception to the above non-trading rule is if you are paying someone to create artwork for your fake pet. This is the only acceptable time this should happen.

I believe that quite a few people were making CS "Coal" that had names and the CS logo. I hopped that helped.

Yeah; I saw that people had coal so I made one and asked how I could make it into a CS custom (XD I'm so naive), and then all the people in the coal topic laughed at me and I didn't know why. They said that they were real pets!! :angry: Thanks for clearing this up. I was feeling sooooo embarrassed.

Thanks for posting this Vampiric. A lot of people kept coming onto my custom thread and saying that they found new customs, only to find out that they were imposter pets. This should get rid of the confusion.
