The Jostens man came to our school today.
He had my class fill out forms with our names on them.
He says. “I’m gonna pick four of these forms to win a free ring!”
Free class ring? Ohmygoshyesplease, said I.
I was called.
I never win anything, so I was ecstatic.
I run to the front of the auditorium, everyone is staring at us... and then they start to laugh.
The man pulls out a bag of... Ring Pops.
Ring Pops.
I was humiliated by a blue raspberry Ring Pop and a cruel salesman.

And that’s why I was mad.
