in other, less obnoxious news; i don’t know where this book is going but honestly it’s so boring??? i can’t tell what’s happening and the main character just bugs me so bad. she’s so rude? people/characters that are rude to their parents make me confused and upset. and she’s just that unpopular girl who has a crush on the popular hot boy, who (gasp) likes her too! which i feel like is overused. it’s not a bad trope but if it isn’t done right then i don’t like it. and i don’t like this character. but i want to see where the book goes

speaking of the popular hot boy; i can’t tell what’s going on with him either? the main character calls him the popular legend except he’s been made fun of by the football jocks several times already, and he’s also troubled and mysterious? and also he’s a wannabe edgy art boy. who is this character. what is this book

finished the book. we don’t really find out what happens to her mom? or maybe i just didn’t catch it. sometimes i only take things at face value and miss everything that’s between the lines. depends on the mood i’m in, i think. right now i’m all over the place so i wouldn’t be surprised if i missed some things. anyways, i didn’t really like the book
