jeez, here i am stressing about something that happened over a week ago. we ran into isabella at the mall and while she and lotus were talking i was standing awkwardly, not talking, trying to ignore how hot my face was getting, and avoiding eye contact. and i do that whenever i see people in public, and i’m like 98% sure it makes me seem rude but i do all that because i’m nervous. i always overthink eye contact, i worry about too much eye contact but then i worry about not enough so what ends up happening is i flick between staring right into peoples eyes and then looking at everything around us. and i have this habit of not blinking very much ?? so i’m sure that makes it even more awkward. eye contact is so hard and i never know what to say to people. except adults. i can hold conversations with adults like an adult. with all their small talk and chuckles, i can do that. but that doesn’t work with people my age!! i need to go to sleep
