Happy Halloween!

I was bored. XP

So, in honor of Halloween, I decided to try out the Oekaki again and got... this. It's my demon character in his demony form. He has a mechanical arm because he's awesome Regular arms are so overrated. He's all steampunky and awesome. This is my first time drawing him digitally! It's also my second Oekaki.

This turned out pretty bad. The Oekaki thing doesn't seem to like me! I'm still trying to get a feel for it. The background is horrible, because I can't draw backgrounds, but I rather like how it turned out regardless. The lamp in the background... urgh... I have no idea what went wrong there. Whenever I tried to fix it, I just made it worse. Also, the highlights went out of control...

So critiques, advice, tips, etc. are very much welcome! The art, the character, and his design all belong to me, SilverHart.

EDIT: Darkened it and straightened up the lamp post. Didn't get the chance to darken/tighten up the lines yet.

This is amazing! My only 'tip' would be to sharpen up the lines a bit more- and perhaps make them a darker shade, as they kind of interlock (special word there) with the actual inside art- if that makes sense. But really good!

There. I worked on the lines, darkening them, but they still look a little choppy. And I made the whole picture darker still. I have to go in and clean it up a little, but my computer is just being difficult with me today.

I think it looks wonderful! I think- you should auction it as a charrie- if you just made it up! I think you should! It looks so cool!

Thanks again! I don't feel it's that good, but in any event I couldn't possibly sell him or the design. I love him too much. But I'm flattered you think it's worth auctioning!
