If you have layer 2, there should be a large dot next to the layer. Make sure the dot is black and make sure you selected the layer you wish to draw on. After you have done both of those you should be able to draw. Sometimes I would start drawing and nothing would appear just because I forgot I had my brush on white :P

also, make sure lock alpha is unlocked; since lock alpha only lets you draw on non-transparent pixels, it wouldn't let you draw on an empty layer

If you have Google Chrome the Java isn't needed. As for how to make your brush work, make sure the layer you're on isn't hidden and that the brush's color isn't white by accident. Also be sure Lock Alpha isn't on.

Hello! So I am trying to make adoptable lines! Do I have to redraw the adoptable creature over and over again? Or is there a way I can shrink it and multiply it? I have read the entire post a couple times now, and I can't find anything to help me do that! Any help would be really appreciated!

If you duplicate the layer you've drawn your adoptable lines on using ctrl-shift-d, you can move them around, and re-scale them using ctrl-y to access the transform tool.

Go to the "Art" section at the top of the screen on the right side and click it. Then click on "Beginner's Oekaki."
Right above the first drawing on the left corner should be a button that says "New Drawing" next to a small search bar. Click that and you can start drawing. When you're done with your drawing, there'll be a button that say's "File." Click that and select "Save." You will then be prompted to post the drawing. If you have any other questions about this feel free to ask! I tried to make it simple and easy to understand.
