Does this look like a professional illustration, like for a novel or something? It's supposed to be black and white, I drew it for a novel I'm writing and it can't be in colour. Does this look professional?

Well, I think it should have a background. Without one, it might look too plain.

Ah. Same difference Maybe since it's fantasy, you could put a bit of a purple glow around it or something. Purple glowyness makes everything better!!

Good Ideas, but the glow might have to be gray, this can't have any colour to it.
