I recently beat Crisis Core-Final Fantasy VII for the umpteenth time, and the really sad ending kind of gave me the idea to do this. It isn't very good, I know. I think I blended stuff too much. But, I tried to add a few little things. It was supposed to look like it was raining, but it didn't work out, so I just blurred whatever was supposed to be in the background. For example, the brown blob behind the sword is supposed to be a blurry Midgar, and the yellow spot is like the sun being blurred by the clouds and rain. Anyway, I put Why? off to the side of the sword because it's the song that plays at the end of Crisis Core, and I tinted the ground reddish to look more like the ground of the last scene, even though Zack isn't lying there and the sword is stuck in the ground there like in Advent Children instead-I couldn't bring myself to draw Zack like he was in the scene. Yeah, yeah, call me a baby, whatever. Sorry if you haven't beaten the game and I spoiled it for you, but I DID warn you. And, please don't rip on how bad it is-it really was my first drawing here EVER.

Simple, add more highlights to the sword, such as in the direction the light is coming in, perhaps add a few rain drops along the sword to show more that it is raining, a few puddles on the ground, and a more human like shape in the background.

Wow, you're good. I love it! Make a more round sun, and keep it yellow? It looks kinda green. But yeah, nothin' else to point out! Good luck on drawing here!

Thanks for ruining my evening. XDD No, don't worry, the picture is great, but when I beat the game I was crying as if Zack was someone I knew in real life...>___<

One thing that might help you with drawing:
use layers. You have a box on the right side of the screen when you're drawing where it says "Layer 1". If you click on the + underneath it, you create a new, transparent layer. Try drawing the background on one layer, then create a new one and draw the ground on this layer and then another one for the sword. If you draw everything on seperate layers the colours don't mix and you wouldn't have to draw the Midgar silhouette "around" the sword but simply behind it. I hope...that's understandable...Best thing would be if you'd just try it out^^
