What colour is the dot?

It took me a few seconds to realise the colour of the dot.
Once you think you have the answer, post here?

Could the dot be one colour .. or 2 or 3 and so on?

I would say grey.. but that would be too obvious. Erm.. is it white?

funny :|
You are supposed to see two different shades of grey,which is the illusion, but there is actually only one colour, you guessed it, the same shade of gray all together!
