So, I'm seriously considering buying a pokemon game, but I am rather lost. A few years ago I had Diamond for DS, but I have since lost it. I really enjoyed that one, though I ended up screwing it up when my brothers convinced me to plug in this other thing and use all these fancy cheat codes to do stuff. I have a DS Lite (The screen has some issues but its playable) and I might get a GBA depending on which game I decide to get.

There are so many Pokemon games out there, that I'm really not sure which to go for, and it seems everyone has their own opinion. I have gathered that there are atleast twenty-four games, as of this year. (Correct?) And that is A LOT to choose from. I am also on a bit of a budget, so keep that in mind.

So, in your opinion, which one is the best for me to start on? Which one has the best range of pokemons, best plot, all that good stuffs. Should I get a GBA?
